Integrity Homes Challenge Wanaka Festival

Update 15 February 2021 10:30am

The Integrity Homes Challenge Wanaka team have been assessing the situation and working through scenarios since the announcement by the Government at 7pm last night on the revision of Alert Levels throughout New Zealand.

A decision has been made to carry on preparing the event site for the coming festival within Government Guidelines, with a focus, on being ready for all athletes if the restrictions are lifted on Wednesday evening.

We will be reassessing our decision as the Government provides more clarity over the coming days and will keep everyone informed.

We will be taking the lead from the Government, therefore if the Southern Lakes region is still in Level 2 on the event days, we will not be able to host the athletes due to the size of our event and for the safety of our community. Details around this will be clarified as we move forward.

We will have updates on our website homepage and on our social media channels regularly, so please keep an eye on these platforms.

We ask everyone to please abide by the Guidelines the Government has set out for Alert Levels within your region.

Please remember to stay home if you are unwell, call Health Line and arrange to get tested. It is important we all sign in with the app or on paper records at every location we go into across the country and keep up good hand hygiene. Please wear a mask and social distance where necessary as the Government outlines.
