06:00 - Transition is now full of athletes as they go through their race preparation - we can see Richard Ussher, Gina Crawford and the other pros. Everyone is stoked with the perfect weather conditions - the early morning cloud has cleared and it's looking like a bluebird day and currently not a breath of wind.
05:00 - Race day has arrived! Transition is a hive of activity with last minute fine tuning. The lake is calm and the weather forecast predicts perfect race conditions with light breezes, temperatures in the low to mid 20's and high overcast to start with the sun breaking through later in the day. Two hours and counting!
