Cancellation Policy

Refund of 75% until 31 August 2010. Refund of 50% until 30 November 2010. Absolutely no refund after 30 November 2010. All entries are non-transferrable to other athletes or other years. No changes between disciplines are permitted after 30 November 2010.

Test your metal on the legendary Challenge Wanaka course but at half the distance. The course will follow the same spectacular route that has quickly earned Challenge Wanaka the title of the world’s most scenic iron distance triathlon. The 1.9km swim will be one lap of the swim course in the crystal waters of Lake Wanaka, the 90km cycle will travel out towards Treble Cone before heading back through Lake Wanaka and then cutting across to Lake Hawea. The 21.1km run will be one lap of the current Challenge Wanaka run course, half of which is off-road alongside the lake and banks of the Clutha River.

The Lake Wanaka Half is open to both teams and individuals and will run concurrently with Challenge Wanaka. Please note that this results in a course closure time of 7hrs to ensure the finish chute is clear for the winning Challenge Wanaka athletes.
