Following feedback from athletes, we have changed the timing of the awards ceremony to earlier in the day to allow more athletes to attend and celebrate their achievements. Each athlete has a ticket included in their entry fee and you can buy extra tickets for family and friends for just $30 which includes food and a drinks voucher.

Carbo Party - Thursday 15 January

Race Central Marquee

The Carbo Party is a great place to meet old friends and make new ones. After a warm welcome from the Challenge Wanaka team, last year's winners will say a few words followed by a few important race announcements. All athletes have free entry into this great carbo-loading experience. Friends and family are very welcome and tickets are available for $15 including plenty of carbohydrates and non-alcoholic drinks.
